Labuan Bajo A Popular Favourite At
Scandinavia’s Biggest Travel Show
During a “Table Top Meeting” held at the exhibition which brought together buyers and sellers within the industry, the Ambassador highlighted that Indonesia is home to more than 17,000 islands, each unique and beautiful in their own way. He also said that it was clear that Indonesia’s plethora of enthralling tourists’ destinations are obvious favourites during the show. Tour packages offered included eco-tourism, marine tourism, cultural and culinary tourism, visiting traditional villages and shopping & entertainment.
Aside to Bali, Indonesia’s tour operators at the travel fair also promoted Labuan Bajo, Flores; Lembah Baliem, Papua; and Kalimantan, Borneo Island as the next must-visit tourists’ destinations.
CEO of Messecenter Herning, Georg Srensen, said that the Danish Travel Show or Ferie for Alle is one of Scandinavia’s biggest travel exhibitions, attracting more than 60,000 visitors and more than 1,100 exhibitors.
