Mbay’s Puta Hot Springs

Mbay’s Puta Hot Springs

If you’re ever planning on visiting Mbay in the Nagekeo district, don’t miss the Puta Hot Springs, one of the area’s most natural highlights and is located in a mangrove forest.

Here at Puta, you’ll find many natural pools filled with hot water for you to relax in while surrounded by beautiful and natural surroundings. The interesting thing about Puta Hot Springs is that the pools all hold different temperatures. Some of them are too hot to jump in while some offer the perfect warm temperature for a relaxing soak and a natural spa experience.

The Puta Hot Springs is very popular amongst the locals. To get there, you’ll have to trek a little bit through a mangrove forest, rice fields and hills and while doing so, you’ll get to see some beautiful species of birds. If you’re feeling up to it, you could continue your hike to Marapokot, an idyllic fishing village.

Travel Tips:
