Ende’s Mbuliwaralau Beach

Ende’s Mbuliwaralau Beach

Mbuliwaralau is a hidden treasure located on the south coast of Ende. The beach got its name from the nearby village. Different from other sandy beaches, Mbuliwaralau Beach is actually a stretch that is filled with stones.

The beach has a unique landscape – a beautiful panorama of pandanus, coconut trees and big peddles. From Wolowaru, the beach is easily reachable and the road leading to it takes you along beautiful rice fields and a small and charming monkey forest.

Plenty of fishermen can be found at Mbuliwaralau beach. If you are very lucky, they may offer you a young fresh coconut, perfect to drink after swimming or water sports that are offered along the beach.

The beach is still quite untouched and pristine, which means that the scenery isn’t marred by any buildings, shops or restaurants.

Travel tips:

–       The nearest town is Wolowaru with accommodations, shops and restaurants.

–       Hire a private transportation to take you to the beach and back

–       Respect nature and don’t throw any rubbish around
