Bidadari Island

Bidadari Island

One of the four beautiful islands located near Labuan Bajo is Bidadari Island. It’s one of the 26 small islands near Komodo Island and if you visit Komodo National Park, Rinca and Padar Island, it’s a must to also visit Bidadari Island.

The island is known for its white sandy beaches and in the background, the land beyond features dramatic hills and verdant greeneries. The turquoise water is clear, cool and calm and is great for swimming, diving and snorkelling. When you’re underwater, you will find amazing coral reefs and marine life with colourful fishes from a depth of 5 meters. When you are going deeper you’ll see sea turtles.

After enjoying the beautiful underwater world, the white beaches here are perfect for relaxing. If you want to be a little bit more active, there are also many water sports and activities that you can try.

Travel tips:

–       When diving or snorkelling, do not try to touch the underwater creatures or corals

–       Be responsible with your rubbish! Do not leave plastics and trash behind

–       Take a boat from Labuan Bajo to Bidadari Island for about 30 minutes to get to Bidadari Island
